Candy Rocks Halloween!

Introducing a scary idea for Sweet Charity London area’s 2010 event!

In 2009 the London area committee changed the game and re-wrote our rules with The Candy Rocks Party by throwing out our traditional black tie events. We exceeded expectations with the last event becoming the most profitable area fundraising event for the Sweet Charity and have set ourselves a benchmark for which we need to surpass in 2010.

To pull it out the bag in 2010 we knew we had to take our next event to the next level. The process of change is scary, but that's the whole point!

We are going to create not just the first fancy dress party for the Sweet Charity London area but hold the FMCG industry's first Halloween party!

Ladies and Gentlemen, we give you ..... Candy Rocks, the Halloween Party!

Why Halloween?!
Halloween Party's are synonymous with even the most quiet and reserved of people dressing up (or down - mostly! Less is often more!) and showing their spooky but sexy devilish side! It will be a hit with men and women of the industry alike. Fancy dress is one of the best ways to break down corporate networking etiquette, thrusting people to meet and talk to other people they have perhaps not spoken to before, often complimenting each other on how horrid they look, as apposed to "Darling, you look fabulous!". We wanted to create a different type of event for our friends in the industry and believe this is it.

Venue
The event will be held at the famous old music venue, Dingwalls, which is set right next to Camden Lock near central London and is very dark inside! Camden is the perfect location for this type of event so that our guests don’t feel conscious about dressing up (as the Camden are is well known for it’s Halloween celebrations!) and Camden fits perfectly with the tongue in cheek image we have created for the London area events over the last 5 years.

Tickets
The ticket price is such amazingly good value on purpose. We want to be really inclusive so that if companies only buy a set amount of tickets, that if individuals want to come along (and they will) that the ticket price is such bloody good value for money so people can buy their own tickets and maybe bring a group of friends and partners along too. For £69 (if booked before theh 1st June) the ticket price includes entry, cocktail on arrival, food, entertainment and free bar (wine, beer & soft drinks) until 10:30pm which is such great value for a full night out in London it’s scary!
